5 Star Garage Door Service's Celina, TX technicians replace worn cables before they fail, and re-seat drums that have slipped out of alignment.
5 Star Garage Door Service trains Celina, TX technicians on this exact service line so you're not the one teaching them on the job.
Every Celina, TX technician on this service line carries documentation you can ask to see, and we expect the question.
A cable slipped off its drum gets diagnosed for the underlying cause, not just re-seated.
Cable diameter and length get matched to your specific drum configuration.
Improper cable work while springs are loaded is a real injury risk.
Cables are common stock on our trucks, so most jobs finish in one visit.
Even a few loose strands mean a cable is close to failing under load — we inspect both cables even when only one shows visible wear.
A cable that's already snapped usually means the door dropped or hangs crooked — we never operate a door on a snapped cable.
A cable that's slipped off its drum causes uneven hanging — we re-seat it and correct the underlying cause.
Extension spring systems should run safety cables to prevent whip-back — it's a quick, affordable safety upgrade.
The bracket anchoring the cable to the door corrodes over time — this is a less obvious but equally important part of the system.
Reach a live dispatcher at +1-866-597-3069 and describe what's going on with your door.
Most calls see a technician on-site within the hour, dispatch load permitting.

Not always, but we inspect both since matched wear is common.
A door suddenly hanging crooked is another common indicator.
We treat snapped cable calls with the same urgency as a broken spring.
The injury risk is similar to spring replacement.
Torsion systems typically don't require the same safety cable.
We check cable condition as part of any service call, even unrelated ones.
